hello, i'm new to the madison wi area and would like to meet some ex-jdubs in the area, i'm 24 yrs old.
people relativly my age would be nice but any age is cool.
i just moved from milwaukee and all my friend there are ex-jw's, we are all pretty close about 10 of us or so and am looking for the same kind of bonds where i am now, there is nothing like having people in your life who know exactly what you went through in life.

Well, I live in Greendale/Milwaukee area now, but previously I lived in Mukwonago, WI. It's about 20 minutes SW of Milwaukee. We shared territory borders with the West Allis North/South congregations.
I'll PM you the names of escapee's that I know in Milwaukee area.

well, it looks like the jehovah's witnesses are going to start intruding in my marriage again.. a little background, when i first met my husband he was going to meetings sporadically.
he has studied off and on for years but was never baptized so he's always been in the "love bombing" stage with them.
he believes most of the doctrines (no christmas although he lets me celebrate it, the trinity is wrong, etc.
I have also asked to go to marriage counselling which he claims he is willing to do, but can never find time to go to the appointment.
Maybe make a firm appointment and go with or without him?

Actually, watching a movie or TV show and seeing a character do something embarassing makes me want to cover my eyes and hide under a rock. Some reality shows where a guy is on a date and is making an ass of himself, or maybe a singing audition and the person has NO singing ability; I just squirm in my seat until I'm on the floor
